Wind Turbine Transport
Wind projects involve multi-component logistics – tower, nacelle, generator and blades. We use triple-extendable trailers up to 50 m, hydraulic blade lifters and modular bridges for tower sections up to 120 t. We coordinate with road agencies to minimise downtime and work to IEC 61400 vibration standards.
Our method
- Route tracing with GIS software
- Blade lifters to negotiate angles up to 60°
- Demag AC100 and partner cranes up to 600 t for installation
- All-risk insurance and night transits where required
